Jonathan Hall, OD
Dr. Hall earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Southern California. He earned his Doctor of Optometry Degree from Western University of Health Sciences College of Optometry. Having decided at an early age to pursue a career in vision care he has over 20 years of experience in this field. His experiences range from: vision research in the areas of dry eye, accommodation, retinal prosthetics, and vision science; vision care in multiple settings private optometric and ophthalmologic practice, veterans affairs, air force base; and vision rehabilitation of all ages including special populations and acquired brain injuries.
Dr. Hall has a passion for vision rehabilitation which is his area of focus at Daniel and Davis Optometry located in Carlsbad California. He enjoys the many challenges and rewards involved with habilitating and rehabilitating individuals with special needs and acquired brain injuries. He implements a humanistic approach to his patients and encourages multisensory and multidisciplinary treatment when appropriate. He is inspired when given the opportunity to collaborate with others to identify more effective ways of treatment resulting in efficient and lasting outcomes that improve one’s quality of life.
